2.1 I f present , remo v e the shippin g
insulator pull - ta b on the b atter y,
lo c ate d b etween the R emote U nit
an d the B atter y P a ck .
2.2 I f ne c essar y, atta c h the R emote
U nit to the B atter y P a ck . T he R emote
an d B atter y P a ck slip to g ether easil y
an d snap into pla c e. Do not for c e
them to g ether.
2.3 Sli d e the R emote U nit an d B atter y
P a ck into the Char g in g W ell until the
Char g e I n d i c ator illuminates.
Note: R emote U nit must remain in
the B ase for 5 se c on d s to esta b lish a
c ommuni c ations lin k b efore the s y stem
c an fun c tion.
P rior to usin g the CA10CD , the B atter y
must b e c har g e d for 8 hours. (Y ou ma y,
howe v er , use the R emote while it is in the
Char g in g W ell. T his will in c rease c har g in g
time ) . T he B atter y Char g e L i g ht will turn
off after the B atter y is full y c har g e d .

4.1 Conne c t the Q ui ck Dis c onne c t to
the H-T op H ea d set of y our c hoi c e.
P ut on y our hea d set.
4.2 P ress the P ower B utton on either the
R emote or the B ase. T he g reen R emote
P ower I n d i c ators on the R emote an d
B ase will illuminate.
4.3 Depress an d hol d the T al k B utton on the R emote U nit to
g enerate the “K e y” si g nal to y our c onsole or ra d io. W hile the
T al k B utton is d epresse d, the T al k I n d i c ator L i g ht will illuminate.
R eleasin g the T al k B utton will remo v e the “K e y” si g nal to
y our c onsole or ra d io an d e x tin g uish the T al k I n d i c ator.
4.4 A dj ust the v olume from y our hea d set by usin g the L isten
V olume Control.
T he CA10CD is c ompati b le with most s y stems on the mar k et.
T he user must initiall y set the T ransmit L e v el Swit c h an d the
Confi g uration Swit c h to the optimum settin g s. T hese swit c hes
d etermine how the a d apter intera c ts with a parti c ular s y stem.
4.5 T he CA10CD T ransmit L e v el Swit c h pro v i d es three le v els :
“ 1 ” ( hi g h or c ar b on ), “2” ( me d ium or ele c tret ), an d “3” ( low
or dy nami c) . T he stan d ar d settin g is “ 1 ” .
A dj ustin g the transmit output le v el by mo v in g the
T ransmit L e v el Swit c h to position 1 , results in more
output.
M o v in g the T ransmit L e v el Swit c h to position 2 or 3
re d u c es y our output. Y ou c an further fine tune the
transmit le v el with the T al k
V olume Control b uttons.
4.6 I f y ou ha v e mispla c e d the
R emote , press the P a g e B utton
for 3 se c on d s an d the R emote
will emit two lon g lou d b eeps.
