7.10 Beam check
The beam check feature allows you to check that the X-ray unit is properly collimated. We
recommend that you perform the beam check after the normal cephalostat beam adjustment.
To run the Beam Check test, proceed as follows:
Start the Beam Check program by clicking Start > Programs > Planmeca. Select Beam Check
from the appearing list.

The window shown below appears on your computer. Select Proline Ceph from the X-ray
equipment list. Click
Take the Image button.
