C.onfiguring the Client PC
When printing via a server, each client will issue a print request to the server
rather than to the print server itself.
1. From the Start button, select [Settings] and then [Printers].
2. Double-click the Add Printer icon, and click on the Next button.
3. In the next screen, select Network Printer and click on the Next button.
4. Click on the Browse button.
5. In the next screen, double-click the name (icon) of your NetWare server.
All the available print queues will be listed under the NetWare server.
Select the print queue you have created, and click on the OK button.
6. The same information will be displayed in the Network Path field. Click
on the Next button.
7. Refer to the user's manual of your printer and select the manufacturer and
model name of your printer in the two lists. Click on the Next button.
* To learn how to install the drivers of your printer, please refer to the user's
manual of the printer.
8. You can define a name for your printer. If you do not wish to change the
default printer name, simply click on the Next button.
9. The wizard will ask you whether you wish to print a test page. Select
" Yes" and click on the Finish button. The configuration of the print
server is complete if the test page is printed properly.
* If the test page does not come out properly, refer to Appendix A for
troubleshooting information.
