Mini300plus

The Mini300plus can be used as a NetWare print server.  To configure the

print server as a NetWare print server, select either the Auto Setup or the

Manual Setup option.

Note: 

T he  Mi ni 300pl us  support s  both  the  NDS  and  binder y  modes  of

NetWare4.X/ 5.X.  If your NetWare server is currently set to NDS, select the

Bindery  mode  before  configuring  the  print  server  (and  creating  print

queues).  For more details, refer to your NetWare manual.

a.Using Auto Setup

The Auto Setup option greatly eases installation of the print server.  

1. Log on to your NetWare server with supervisor (or admin) permission.

2.From  the  St art  butt on,  select  [ Program]  and  t hen  [S mart   P rint 

Manager 3].  

3.The utility detects all the print servers on your network.  Select the print

server you wish to configure, and click on the Auto Setup button.

4.The  Auto  Setup  window  appears.    One  of  the  NetWare  servers  on  your

network is displayed in the "File Server Name" field.  Select the NetWare

server on which you wish to enable the print server.
