10.3 Maintenance

“Maintenance” provides functions for users to:

• Perform Firmware Upgrade (Only on Web UI)
• Restart the NVR when necessary
• Restart cameras directly from the NVR
• Reset the NVR’s settings to their factory default values

Firmware Upgrade

The firmware can be upgraded through web UI. Before upgrading firmware, please back up
configuration in advance.

** the firmware file comes with a “.tar.gz” file extension.

Click “Browse…” and a new dialog should display and let you choose the location of the
firmware file.

When done, click “Upgrade”.

Follow the on screen instruction and wait for the process to finish (After the upgrade, the
system will reboot automatically. It’s part of the process.).
