4.7.5 MSTI Priorities
This page allows the user to inspect the current STP MSTI bridge instance priority configurations, and possibly change them as
well. The MSTI Priority screen in
Figure 4-7-7
appears.

The page includes the following fields:

MSTI
The bridge instance. The CIST is the default instance, which is always active.
•
Priority
Controls the bridge priority. Lower numerical values have better priority. The
bridge priority plus the MSTI instance number, concatenated with the 6-byte MAC
address of the switch forms a Bridge Identifier.
Buttons
: Click to apply changes
: Click to undo any changes made locally and revert to previously saved values.
