Safety instructions

Refer to the dry shipper's documentation for safety and operation
instructions.

·

The surfaces of the dry-shipper lid (cork) and the sensor will be extremely
cold when removed from the dry shipper.

o

Cold surfaces can cause frostbite.

o

Always wear cryogenic gloves when handling cold parts. 

·

There are no user serviceable parts. With the exception of replacement of
the data logger's battery, all servicing must be undertaken by trained and
authorised personnel.

·

The data loggers contain a 3.6 V, ½ AA lithium primary battery.

·

Do not open, puncture or mutilate the batteries.

·

Do not heat batteries or attempt to recharge them.

·

Do not use a fire to dispose of batteries.

·

Keep batteries out of the reach of children.

·

Always remove old, weak, or worn-out batteries promptly and recycle or
dispose of them in accordance with local regulations.

·

Remove the batteries if your device is to be stored for longer than a month
without being used.

Introduction

The ShipsLog 3 (SL3) allows temperature measurements to be recorded from a dry
shipper. The SL3 comprises a modified cork with a protective data logger housing
mounted to the top and a thermocouple sensor located on the tip of the cork.
