4.1
Changing the battery
·
Remove the data logger from the PC before replacing the battery.
·
Do not open, puncture or mutilate the batteries.
·
Do not heat batteries or attempt to recharge them.
·
Do not use a fire to dispose of batteries.
·
Keep batteries out of the reach of children.
·
Observe warnings on the battery case.
·
Always remove old, weak, or worn-out batteries promptly and recycle or
dispose of them in accordance with local regulations.
·
Remove the batteries if your device is to be stored for longer than a month
without being used.
·
It is recommend that the battery is replaced annually or prior to logging
critical data.
·
The data logger will not lose its stored readings when the battery is
discharged or replaced; however, the data logging process will stop. Data
logging will not resume until the battery is replaced and the data logger
restarted by the control software.
·
If the battery has not been used for a long time, refer to the
section.
1. The data logger is provided with a 3.6 V, ½ AA lithium primary battery already
installed.
2. The battery status is checked whenever the logger communicates with the software.
It is recommended that the battery is replaced when a BATTERY LOW warning
appears.
