Regional emissivity setting
Use the following steps to change the emissivity value for a selected region.
Step 1 Select the region of interest using the steps outlined in 3.2.2.2.
Step 2 Reenter the Measure/Capture submenu
(as needed) and tap the icon to
change the emissivity value.
Step 3 The emissivity may be numerically set using the left dial, which has the range
(0.01
—
1.0).
Step 4 The emissivity may be set by material type selection using the right dial. An
abbreviated reference table of emissivity values is provided in Section 6.
The direction ring and selection button (see 1.3.1 item 12) can also be
used to perform Steps 3 & 4.
Step 5 Tap the screen outside of the menu area to complete the setting.

Add a temperature difference measurement
Use the following steps to add a temperature difference measurement.
Step 1 Tap the
icon in the home screen and select the icon from the popup
submenu.
Step 2 Verify that the dial indicator is "On" for the temperature difference measurement.
Step 3 Use the "T1" dial to select the first temperature from a defined region
measurement or Tref.
