2. In sert tw o 1.5V AA batt eries into t ool being s ure t o follo w
the pl acem ent guide s hown on t ool.
3. R otate th e end b attery c over t o the “I” m ark to en sur e the
tool i s in “On” m ode.
4. To in sert ti p, fir st press S haft L ock Butt on and r otate th e
collet nut b y han d until the lock en gages th e shaft,
prev enting r otation, then in sert desir ed tip. While h old-
ing th e Shaft L ock Butt on, rev erse r otate th e collet nut
into s ecur e position.
5. Pr ess the w ork butt on to start usin g tool. R eleas e the
work b utton t o stop t ool.
6. Wh en chan ging t ool tips a lw ays r otate th e end b attery
cov er to th e left to just p ast th e “0” mark t o ensur e tool i s
in OFF mode .
7. Aft er use, r emov e the b attery c over an d rem ove b atteries
befor e storin g aw ay, o ut of rea ch of children.
SAFE TY PRE CA UTIONS
MAINTENANCE
1. For best results use alkaline batteries. Do not mix old and
new batteries.
2. Do not mix alkaline, standard or rechargeable batteries.
3. Do not use tool continuously for more than 2 minutes at a
time as longer use may result in overheating tool motor
and shorten tool’s lifespan.
4. Tool can operate for approx. 30 cycles (2-minute continuous
use with 1 min break) using new batteries.
5. When tool is not in use, remove batteries and store away
from small children.
