5 Mounting sequence for CNV580-3AD
CNV580 and the relevant I/O modules are DIN-rail side of CNV580 and
communicate via specific bus connector placed on DINrail itself. I/O
modules PLE500-xAD will be automatically addressed at each power
on, assigning number 1 to first I/O module on the right side of CNV580,
number 2 to the following module and so on, always proceeding to the
right. To ensure correct addressing, it is not allowed to remove any device
from DIN rail leaving empty spaces (bus slot) between one module and
the next one. Any operation related to connecting/disconnecting the
modules must be done only after disconnecting power supply.

Fix all bus connectors pressing them
towards DIN rail, make sure that male
connection is left-facing and female
connection is right-facing
Lock all bus connectors to one another,
by sliding them on DIN rail
