The compressor oil level should not be checked unless a refrigerant leak has occurred or
system pressure has been released, requiring an addition of refrigerant to the system.
9.
Clean any traces of oil from the clutch surface.
10. Examine cables for broken strands by wiping them with a cloth for their entire length. Visually
inspect the cable thoroughly for damage not detected by the cloth. Replace any damaged or
frayed cables.
(a) See Special Inspections, Procedures, Control Cable Inspection, or the latest edition of
FAA AC 43.13-1.
(b) At fifteen (15) years time-in-service, begin Cable Fittings 100 Hour Special
Inspection. See Special Inspections, Procedures, Control Cable Inspection, below.
11. Maintain cable tensions as specified in Table V-I, and, if installed, the appropriate autopilot
service manual.
12. Refer to Section XIII, Condenser Assembly Rigging, and verify/check microswitch
adjustment.
13. Not used.
14. Sloshing of fuel tanks not approved. For airplanes with fuel tanks which have previously been
sloshed, perform Sloshed Fuel Tank 100 Hour Inspection in Section VIII.
15. Refer to Pilot’s Operating Manual (POM) / Pilot's Operating Handbook (POH) for preflight
and flight check list.
16. Refer to Airplane Flight Manual (AFM) / Pilot's Operating Handbook (POH) Supplement for
preflight and flight check and for intended function in all modes.

In PA-32-260 S/N’s 32-04, 32-1 thru 32-1191, and PA-32-300 S/N’s 32-15, 32-21, 32-40000
thru 32-40769,
perform Aileron Hinge Doubler 100 Hour Inspection (see Special Inspections,
Procedures).

In PA-32-260 S/N’s 32-03, 32-04, 32-1 thru 32-730001, and PA-32-300 S/N’s 32-15, 32-21,
32-40000 thru 32-7340054, for airplanes which have not modified the original equipment
rudder bar assembly per Figure 3-7,
perform Rudder Bar Assembly 100 Hour Inspection (see
Special Inspections, Procedures).

In PA-32-260 S/N’s 32-1111 and up; and PA-32-300 S/N’s 32-40566 and up; for those
airplanes which have not installed Piper Kit No. 760-891 (PA-32-260) or 760-889 (PA-32-
300):
inspect throttle and mixture cable forward end balljoints for excessive wear (see Figure
20.
