Playback with NETWORK feature

Playing back audio files stored on
components on the network
You can p e r fo r m the following o p e r ations with the r emote
cont r ol of this r eceive r . Note that some buttons a r e not
available fo r o p e r ation de p ending on the catego r y cu rr ently
being p layed back.
• P r ess NETWORK to switch the r emote cont r ol to the
NETWORK o p e r ation mode.
Playing back your favorite songs
Registering audio files and Internet radio stations

While Playing back a song, press
/
to select “Add to
Favor”, and then press ENTER.
The selected song is then r egiste r ed in the Favo r ites folde r .
Note that only the audio files sto r ed on com p onents on the
netwo r k can be r egiste r ed.
Playing and deleting audio files and Internet radio
stations in and from the Favorites folder
1 Select ‘Favorites’ from the Main Menu.
2 Use
/
to select audio file or Internet radio station,
and then press ENTER.
3 Use
/
to select playback or delete options and then
press ENTER.


Network setup menu
Setting u p the netwo r k to listen to Inte r net r adio on this
r eceive r .
1 Select ‘Settings’ from the Main Menu.
2 Select the setting you want to adjust.

Network
– Adjust settings fo r the netwo r k (see
Network
settings below).

General
– Use to r eset all netwo r k connection settings to
thei r initial, facto r y-setting condition (see General settings
on p age 22).
Network settings
In case the r oute r connected to the LAN te r minal on this
r eceive r is a b r oadband r oute r (with a built-in DHCP se r ve r
function), sim p ly tu r n on the DHCP se r ve r function, and you
will not need to set u p the netwo r k manually. You must set u p
the netwo r k as desc r ibed below only when you have
connected this r eceive r to a b r oadband r oute r without a
DHCP se r ve r function. Befo r e you set u p the netwo r k, consult
with you r ISP o r the netwo r k manage r fo r the r equi r ed
settings. It is advised that you also r efe r to the o p e r ation
manual su pp lied with you r netwo r k com p onent.
1 Select ‘Network’ from the Settings menu.
2 Select ‘Modes’ from the Network Settings menu.
In case you make changes to the netwo r k configu r ation
without the DHCP se r ve r function, make the co rr es p onding
changes to the netwo r k settings of this r eceive r .
• DHCP
(default setting)
– Select if the se r ve r is DHCP
com p atible.

When DHCP is selected, connection will begin
automatically. Connection is com p lete when netwo r k
connection details a r e dis p layed. P r ess ENTER to r etu r n
to the pr evious sc r een.
• STATIC – To connect to the se r ve r manually, follow the
inst r uctions listed below.
