TRACK SELECTION WITH A USB
KEYBOARD
By attaching a keyboa r d, t r ack selection can be p e r fo r med by
in p utting the initial cha r acte r s of the t r ack o r folde r name (t r ack/
folde r jum p ), keywo r d sea r ch of titles and a r tist names can be
p e r fo r med, and p laylist names can be edited. Connect the
keyboa r d to the USB1 o r USB2 p o r t.

Track/folder jump
1 Use the TAB key to select the BROWSE screen.
2 Use one of the F1 to F4 or F6 keys to select the source.

p is p ossible if the PLAYLIST is at the fi r st hie r a r chical level
( p laylist name) o r lowe r in the folde r t r ee.
3 Sequentially input the letters of the track name you wish to
select.
The cu r so r will move to the fi r st t r ack with the matching st r ing
of cha r acte r s. If folde r s exist at that level, the cu r so r will
likewise jum p to matching folde r names.
4 When the cursor is on the desired track name, press the
ENTER key to confirm the selection.
The t r ack menu will a pp ea r .
5 Press the

key to select either [LOAD A] or [LOAD B], and
press the ENTER key.
The t r ack will begin p layback.

Keyword search for title and artist name
1 Use the TAB key to select the BROWSE screen.
2 Use the F11 key or F12 key to select either [ SEARCH] or
[ SEARCH] .
3 Input the characters for the name of the title or artist, and
press the ENTER key to confirm.
Titles o r a r tist names including the in p ut cha r acte r st r ing will
be dis p layed.
4 Align the cursor with the desired track and press ENTER key.
The t r ack menu will be dis p layed.
5 Use the

key to select either [LOAD A] or [LOAD B], and
press the ENTER key.
The t r ack will begin p layback.
 Editing playlist names
1 Use the TAB key to select the BROWSE screen.
2 Use the F6 key to select the playlist screen.
3 Use the

key to select playlist you wish to edit.
4 Press shift + ENTER key to confirm the selection.
The p laylist menu will be dis p layed.
5 Use the

key to select [RENAME], then press ENTER key.
The edit mode will be enabled, allowing you to edit the p laylist
name.
6 Edit the playlist name.
A p laylist name can include u p to 32 cha r acte r s.
7 When editing is completed, press the ENTER key.
The p laylist will flash, signaling the com p letion of editing.
