When this switch is set to RECEIVER , the r eceive r can be
cont r olled (used to select the white commands). Also use
this switch to set u p su rr ound sound.
13 VOL +/–
Use to set the listening volume.
14 MUTE
Mutes the sound o r r esto r es the sound if it has been
muted (adjusting the volume also r esto r es the sound).

1 Remote control operating zone indicator
This indicates which zone the r emote cont r ol is cu rr ently
set to o p e r ate. The dis p lay indicates the setting of the
MULTI-ZONE o p e r ation selecto r switch.
Only when RF two-way communications:
The box dis p lay he r e indicates the communication status
between this r emote cont r ol unit and the r eceive r .
(White box with black lette r s): Two-way
communications a r e established and the r eceive r ’s
p owe r is on.

LIGHT
button fo r 5 seconds to change the illumination mode 1 o r 2. When set to
LIGHT MODE 2
(default), the
illumination only lights when the r emote cont r ol LIGHT button is pr essed. When switched to LIGHT MODE 1 , the illumination lights wheneve r
buttons a r e o p e r ated. Setting
LIGHT MODE 1
will sho r ten the se r vice life of the batte r ies.
2 The dis p lay lights when a r emote cont r ol o p e r ation is p e r fo r med, then tu r ns off afte r 20 seconds if no othe r o p e r ation is p e r fo r med. When in
the Remote Setu p mode, the setu p is canceled and the dis p lay tu r ns off if no o p e r ation is p e r fo r med fo r 1 minute ( p age 83).
