The computer or application does not correctly recognize the device

Is the USB cable or AC adapter connected correctly?

Make sure the cable is connected correctly. If you are using a USB hub, the power supply may
be insufficient. Connect the USB cable directly to your computer.

• Is there sufficient space for recording?

Check that the required application software is installed in the usage environment.
• Check that the operating environment being used meets the specifications for the application
software being used.

Recording on the disc at the selected speed is not possible.
→
Check that the disc supports the different recording speeds.
→
The speed may drop depending on the condition of the disc.
• Are you using a disc that has been finalized (no more recording is possible)?
•
Is the disc correctly inserted with the label side facing up and the recording side facing down?
•
Is the disc dirty or scratched?
