12 Fault Finding Using the HMI
12.1 Valve
From the SYSTEM OVERVIEW page, clicking on the VALVE box (Figure 54) will take
the user to the VALVE STATUS page (see Figure 55). The red VALVE box in Figure 54
indicates that there is an error in pinch valve operation. The VALVE STATUS page
allows users to monitor and manually control the pinch valve. Activating the pinch valve
will allow the blower in the DPM Reader to draw sample air into the DPM Reader through
the inlet at the bottom. When the valve is off it will draw filtered reference air through the
Humidity filter on the right of the DPM Reader.
