AN OPERATION DIAGNOSTICS
In order to determine whether there is an operational fault with the fan the DPM Reader
needs to be turned on.
Warning: Set DPM Reader to Safety Control Level 2.
The fan is switched on as soon as the DPM Reader is powered on. If this is not the
case, you will need to;
1. Take a closer look at whether an object is preventing the fan blades from
turning
2. Inspect that the fan power connector is fastened correctly to the DC power
board
3. Determine whether the fan is in fact faulty.
Warning: Do not put any object or your fingers into a rotating fan, this may cause
damage to the fan or injury to yourself. The cooling fan rotates at full speed all
the time the DPM Reader is on.
