Abrupt control and/or airplane motion
Accomplish steps 1 and 2 simultaneously.

GRASP FIRMLY and regain aircraft
control

Autopilot Disengage switch.........
PRESS to disengage the autopilot (pilot
or copilot yoke)

Aircraft........................................
RETRIM manually as necessary

DO NOT ATTEMPT TO RE-ENGAGE THE AUTOPILOT FOLLOWING AN

Flashing red AP on PFD and continuous “Cavalry Charge” aural warning
