Procedure

General
This data module gives the procedure to do an operational test of the inertial separator system.

Procedure
2.1
Energize the aircraft electrical system, refer to AMM 12-B-24-00-00-00A-901A-A.
2.2
On the left inner cross bar panel, set the ICE PROTECTION - INERT SEP switch to OPEN.
2.3
Visually make sure that the bypass door in the lower engine cowling 43AB fully opens.
2.4
On the lower MFD display make sure that:
−
The green INERT SEP caption is ON
−
The CAS caution message INERTIAL SEPARATOR is OFF.
Note
The INERTIAL SEPARATOR caution message will not come on until 45 seconds after you set the
INERT SEP switch to OPEN or CLOSED.
2.5
Open this circuit breaker:
−
PROP DE-ICE (MAIN BUS).
2.6
Set the ICE PROTECTION - PROPELLER switch to ON.
2.7
On the lower MFD display, make sure that the green PUSHER ICE MODE caption is ON.
2.8
Set the ICE PROTECTION - PROPELLER switch to OFF.
2.9
On the lower MFD display, make sure that the green PUSHER ICE MODE caption is OFF.
2.10
On the left inner cross bar panel, set the ICE PROTECTION - INERT SEP switch to CLOSED.
2.11
Visually make sure that the bypass door fully closes.
2.12
On the left inner cross bar panel, set the ICE PROTECTION - INERT SEP switch to OPEN.
2.13
Wait a few seconds, then open this circuit breaker (when the bypass door is moving):
−
INERT SEP (ESSENTIAL BUS).
2.14
Wait 45 seconds, then make sure that on the lower MFD:
−
The green INERT SEP caption is OFF
−
The CAS INERTIAL SEPARATOR caution message is ON.
2.15
Close this circuit breaker:
−
INERT SEP (ESSENTIAL BUS).
2.16
Wait for the bypass door to fully open, then make sure that on the lower MFD:
