Using the Network ConÞguration Menus
2-21
To remove IMUX preÞxes from the Dialing Directory:
1. From the Set Network Interface menu, choose Convert Dialing
Directory Numbers
.
The conversion routine searches for known IMUX codes in the
video numbers of each Dialing Directory entry.
If there is a match, the system suggests a conversion for the
entry, as shown in this screen:
2. Choose Yes to accept the conversion or No to reject it.
If you select
Yes
, the conversion routine removes the preÞx or
sufÞx from the video numbers and converts it to an IMUX code
that is stored with the Dialing Directory entry. If you select
No
,
the routine does not alter the Dialing Directory entry.
This process is repeated until the routine analyzes all of the Dialing
Directory entries.
Selecting an Answer Mode
By default, your systemÕs answer mode is set to answer incoming
calls
manually
. When your system is conÞgured with a
dialed
network, you can change the setting so that your system answers
video and audio calls
automatically
.
