1. Print Plate Turn Knob - used to secure
Print Plate position prior to printing. Or, for
dismounting the Print Plate.
2. Print Plate (in home position) - or Print
Platform, an Aluminium assembly, with the
following features:
a. Teflon coating for easier cleaning and
removing excess resin
b. Roughened build plate silver surface to
increase first layer adhesion
c. Factory set in calibrated position prior to
dispatch from Photocentric and no need
to proceed with Homing/Recalibration
process
d.
Interchangeable platforms, i.e. simply
purchase spare platforms and with no need
for re-homing. Simply swap your platforms
between the print jobs.
3. Resin Vat- the resin reservoir for required
amount to complete print jobs, which features
are:
a. Spouts to ease process of pouring resin
back into its container
b. Volume Gauge to indicate how much resin
has been poured and to ensure there is
enough resin for each print job.
c. Durable optically clear vat film to ensure
accurate prints and high longevity
4. Printer LCD Screen - Under Resin Vat, there is
a 24” LCD screen. To display slices which will
turn into layers by light curing.
5. Shut off Reset Button- This is a reset button
for any accidental vat leakage event. This
has been explained in details in section
). Magna has a smart peel release
mechanism, which is Photocentric patented
Blow Peel Technology. If any resin leakage
occurs, it may leak into the Magna blow peel
system. However, Magna Vat leak sensors will
prevent this from happening and disrupt any
damage to Blow Peel system.
6. Power Button- To turn Magna ON and OFF. In
case of emergency, power button can be used
to turn OFF the printer.
7. USB port- to transfer any sliced print job via
the provided, or any non-password protected,
USB to Magna.
8. Touch Screen GUI- This interactive GUI allows
customers to control, connect and maintain
Magna by following simple steps.
