firmware revision and instruct the instrument to update.   

Note : Calibration and Illuminant factors

Connect AC power to the PR-680/680L, or make sure a fully charged battery is used to prevent an 
interruption in power during the restore process.

Insert the SD card into the PR-680/680L.
