OPTIONAL
For Remote Mode applications requiring traditional RS-232 communications, an optional RS-232 interface can
be provided. This option adds an RJ-12 jack to the PR-680/680L system allowing the user to connect the PR-
680/680L
to a PC’s RS
-232 port via the included RJ-12 to DB-9 adapter.

If the PR-680/680L was purchased with the Analog Output option, an SMB jack and mating cable are added to
the system. It provides the capability of monitoring the PMT photomultiplier (PMT) signal for such tasks as LCD
rise and fall time, display pulse width etc.
