2.4.4 Printing
The THERMOMARK X1.1 is ready for operation once all connections have been
established, the labels and transfer foil have been loaded and the printhead has been
locked.
Once the label media has been inserted, a synchronization run must be performed to
enable the printer to automatically determine the length of the inserted labels and set the
label feed accordingly.
• Press the feed button to start the synchronization run.
• Once the synchronization run has been completed, remove the unused labels.
The printer is now synchronized with the label media you loaded.
Tear-off mode Labels or continuous media are printed in tear-off mode. Once printed, the label strip is torn
off by hand using the tear-off edge provided on the label printer.
You can purchase an additional cutter (THERMOMARK X1-CUTTER), which cuts the
labels off automatically.
A synchronization run is not necessary if the printhead was not opened between different
print jobs, even if the printer was switched off.
