5.6 Test Grid
The
Test grid
function prints geometric patterns on a background grid. This enables you
to evaluate the uniformity of the printout.
The printout will be printed at the heat level and print speed set in the
Setup
>
Print
param
. menu.
• Load printable media (labels, continuous paper) that extends over the entire print width
of the printer.
• Load transfer foil of the maximum width.
• Press the menu button.
• Press the X button until you access the
Test
item.
• Press
T
to confirm your selection.
• Press the X button until you access the
Test grid
item.
• Press
T
to confirm your selection.
• Start printing with
↵
.
The printout is started. You can abort the printout with the cancel button.

5.7 ASCII Dump Mode
ASCII Dump Mode
provides a method of checking the control sequences sent to the
interface when performing direct programming. The commands received by the printer will
be printed out in text format. If an error occurs, the corresponding error message will also
be printed out immediately.
The printer will not sense gaps between labels, so continuous media is best suited for
this printout.
