Function blocks for TCP/IP communication
The function blocks are used to establish Ethernet communication between two
communication partners. The existing IEC 61131-5 function blocks have therefore been
extended to include a TCP/IP mode.
Possible applications include:
–
Communication between two Phoenix Contact controllers
(e.g., ILC - RFC, ILC - FC, ILC - ILC)
–
Communication between a Phoenix Contact controller and any other TCP/IP-capable
device (e.g., ILC - PC, ILC - PLC)
•
Implement all time and connection monitoring in the application program.
The Inline controller supports 32 TCP/IP connections to another communication partner.
The function blocks are valid for:

IP_USEND
Sends data to a communication partner
IP_URCV
Receives data from a communication partner
The communication blocks are documented in the PC Worx online help. Only the
extensions for the TCP/IP function blocks are described in this document.
