4.1.3 Setting the DIP switch
A DIP switch is located on the top of the module.

MSB The most significant bit (MSB) has the highest value.
LSB The least significant bit (LSB) has the lowest value.
Setting the address • Remove the marking field and set the address in the switch below it.
• Reattach the marking field to the module.

Position 10 of the 12-pos. DIP switch is reserved and must always be in the “off” position.
Otherwise, the module responds with a failure state.
The set address is only applied on power up. If the address is adjusted during operation,
the module responds with a failure state.
