AXC 3050 as a PROFINET device
This section uses an example to describe how to integrate the AXC 3050 as a PROFINET
device in a PC Worx project.
The function as a PROFINET device for AXC 3050 is optionally available for the PROFINET
controller function. This function is disabled by default. You can activate/deactivate the de-
vice function in PC Worx at one of the three Ethernet interfaces, regardless of whether or
not you operate the AXC 3050 as a PROFINET controller. The interface you use can be
planned depending on your application.
Activating the
PROFINET IO device func-
tion of the AXC 3050
Enabling/disabling the PROFINET device function of the AXC 3050 is via PC Worx. To this
end, there must be a working USB or Ethernet connection between the AXC 3050 and the
PC on which the software is running.
In the following example, the activation is described using the USB connection.
•
In the “Device Details” window, select the “PROFINET Device” item under “Extended
Settings”.
•
In the “Settings” area, select the “LAN1 (X1)” interface.
