5.1 Mounting the device

Mounting
The device is intended for installation in a 19-inch rack. The device's installation height
takes up four rack units (RU). The device is delivered with mounting brackets attached on
both sides.
• Before the installation, please ensure that the required rack units are freely accessible
and the four cage nuts (2) are correctly positioned in the rack (1).
• Place the device in the assembly frame. One person needs to hold the device as a sec-
ond person screws the device on with four screws (3).
Removal
• Disconnect all cables from the device.
• One person needs to hold the device as a second person loosens the screws (3) from
the device.
• Carefully lift the device out of the 19-inch rack.
NOTE: Device damage
Only mount or remove the device when disconnected from the voltage!
NOTE: Device damage
Only mount or remove the device with two persons.
