4.3.2 DSL connection
The device has two plug-in DSL connection terminal blocks, each with the connections (a)
and (b).

The devices are preset for 2-wire operation. As of firmware version 2.1, the device detects
the 4-wire installation automatically. If you set the correct operating mode using the config-
uration software PSI-CONF however, the connection is established twice as fast as with
automatic detection.
NOTE: Malfunction
Never connect DSL port A to DSL port B of the same device (DSL loop).
In order to make data transmission less susceptible to interference, we recommend using
shielded twisted pair cables.
