4.3 Connecting the device
4.3.1 Safety notes
WARNING: Incorrect connection may result in damage to equipment and/or seri-
ous personal injury.
The electrical connection, startup, and operation of this device may only be performed by
qualified personnel.
With respect to the safety notes in this text, qualified personnel are persons who are au-
thorized to start up, to ground, and to mark devices, systems, and equipment according
to the standards of safety technology. In addition, these persons must be familiar with all
warning instructions and maintenance measures in this text.

WARNING: Electrical voltage
The device is only intended for operation in the control cabinet and with SELV according
to IEC 60950/EN 60950/VDE 0805. The device may only be connected to devices that
meet the requirements of EN 60950.
