The FAIL LED indicates different states and error states of the device.

Designation Color Status Meaning
FAIL Red On
(briefly) The device restarts.
• Wait until the device is ready to
operate (see Section 4.3.1 ).
⇒ The device is ready to operate
when PF2–PF5 have gone out and
PF1 flashes green (heartbeat).
On
(permanent) A serious error occurred.
⇒ The device did not reach readi-
ness for operation.
⇒ All network interfaces have been
deactivated.
• Restart the device.
• Contact your support, if necessary
