Note: All procedures are done with the power completely removed. Adhere to all warnings in this manual.

Driver Board F

Vari-Lite Part No: 24.9704.2901

To replace driver board F:

Step 1. Remove 3 x 4-40 x 3/8" PPZ SEMS screws that mount driver board clamp and remove

clamp.

Step 2. Disconnect wiring:

a. Orange/Red/Black - 36 & 12 VDC
b. COM in and out - Labeled OPT F & OPT E (note, it does not matter which goes in

which connector on board)

c. Yellow/Black/Green/Blue - Top inlet fan
d. Sensor 1 - 2

1) 1 - FS1 ZOOM - Zoom Lens Sensor
2) 2 - FS2 COMP - Compensation Lens Sensor

e. Motor 1 - 4

1) 1 - FM1 ZOOM - Zoom Lens Motor
2) 2 - FM2 COMP - Compensation Lens Motor
3) 3 - FM3 EDGE1 - Edge Motor 1
4) 4 - FM4 EDGE2 - Edge Motor 2

Step 3. Remove 1 x 4-40 x ¼" PPZ SEMS screw and remove board.
Step 4. On replacement board, set dip switches as follows:

a. DIP SW 1 ON
b. DIP SW 2 OFF
c. DIP SW 3 ON
d. DIP SW 4 OFF

Step 5. Replace in reverse. Ensure wiring connections are fully seated into board.
