Note: All procedures are done with the power completely removed. Adhere to all warnings in this manual.

Optics Assembly Removal

Vari-Lite Part No: 21.9704.0150 (Initial Models)

Vari-Lite Part No: 21.9704.1150 (Models with Single Divergence)

To remove the optics assembly:

Step 1. Remove both front side rail covers following the procedure described in

“Front Side Rail

Covers” on page 60

Step 2. Disconnect wiring into 2 edge motors.
Step 3. At driver board E &F, disconnect DC power in and fan power.
Step 4. Noting placement cut any cable ties holding DC power and fan power to other wiring.
Step 5. Pull DC power out of any Kurly Loc cable ties.
Step 6. Pull DC power and fan wires through hole with grommet insert.
Step 7. At side rails, remove 4 x 8-32 x 3/8" PFZ screws.

Step 8. At front, remove 4 x 8-32 x ½" PPZ SEMS screws and remove optics.
Step 9. Replace in reverse order.
