Note: All procedures are done with the power completely removed. Adhere to all warnings in this manual.

Low Voltage Supply (LVS) 

Vari-Lite Part No:  69.9704.0300

To replace LVS:

Step 1. Remove both upper enclosure covers following the procedure described in 

“Upper 

Enclosure Covers Removal” on page 25

.

Step 2. Remove pan driver board following the procedure described in 

“Pan Driver Board” on 

page 36

.

Step 3. Remove 4 x 6-32 x 3/8" PFSS-B screws from top side of rear cover.
Step 4. Gently pull cover forward and remove 2 x 8-32 x ½" PFZ screws holding in bracket support.
Step 5. Remove 2 x 8-32 x ½" PFZ screws mounting bracket support to pan tube assembly and 

remove bracket support.

Step 6. Disconnect DC input wiring from PFC.
Step 7. Disconnect DC output wiring.
Step 8. At LVS, remove 2 x 6-32 x ½" PPZ SEMS screws. Note placement of shield and ground 

wire.

Step 9. At side of enclosure, remove 4 x 6-32 x 3/8" PFSS-B screws* mounting LVS. 

Note:  

* These screws have Loctite 242. Apply heat as needed. Reapply Loctite 242 when replacing.

Step 10. Replace in reverse.
