Note: All procedures are done with the power completely removed. Adhere to all warnings in this manual.

Iris Cable 

Vari-Lite Part No:  54.9704.0292 (x 10.5-inches)

To replace the iris cable:
Step 1. Remove Gobo / Shutter / Animation Assembly following procedure in 

“Gobo / Shutter / 

Animation Assembly Removal” on page 64

.

Step 2. Disconnect wiring harness from motor.
Step 3. Using 7/32" nut driver, remove 3 x M3 KEPS nuts.

Step 4. Lift Iris motor mount from assembly.
Step 5. Remove 4 x 0-80 x 3/16" PFSS screws and remove clamps.
Step 6. Remove cable.

Note:  

New cable is ¼" longer then needed. Pull extra material out of clamp then snip off excess.

Step 7. Replace in reverse.
