Lens Group Motor Cables
Tie off along mount as shown. When all lenses are pushed back, a little
slack should still exist in cables to allow free mechanism movement. If
cables are pulled tight, the lenses may not calibrate correctly.
The cable harness should be neatly tied along the inside of the mount. Tie
down tightly so harness cannot be snagged by lens groups.
Frost Motor and Sensor Cables
All cables should be routed to the back of the
lens group. Frost motor and sensor cables
should be neatly routed over the lens using
the wire tie holes on the plate. Both cable tie
saddles should be used to secure cables on
lens carrier. Cables should be tight along
lens group so they do not fall into the beam.
Slack should be left at bottom so lens group
can travel freely.

Lens Group A Motor Cable
The motor cable for lens group A should be tied directly off onto the
mount. There should be slack.
