the styling comb before you start trimming.

Do not move the Personal Groomer too fast.
Make smooth and gentle movements.
Trimming with Acu•Control
Guide Comb Attachment
Put on one of the Acu•Control
combs according to the desired
trimming length, short comb =
short hair, long comb = long hair.
To assemble the Acu•Control
combs, insert the hook of the
comb into the Personal Groomer and push it
down until you hear a click.
Slide the Hair Length
Selector to the desired
trimming length setting.The
numbers are located on the
left side of the comb
adjustment grip area.The
chosen setting is indicated by the arrow.
◗
If you are trimming for the first
time, start by using the
Acu•Control long comb and the
maximum trimming length setting
#5 to prevent accidentally
trimming hairs too short. As you
become familiar with the settings, adjust Hair
Length Selector to desired trimming length.
Selector will “click” into position at each setting.
Switch the Trimmer ON.
To trim in the most effective
way, move the Trimmer
against the direction of hair
growth. Make sure the
surface of the Guide Comb
always stays in contact with
the skin.
NOTE: Since all hairs do not grow in the same
direction, you may want to try different trimming
directions (i.e., upwards, downwards, or across).
Practice is best for optimum results.
If a lot of hair has
accumulated in the Guide
Comb, remove the Comb and
blow and/or shake the hair
out of the comb. You can also
