3.0 Inspection Criteria
3.1. Dot Defect
3.1.1. Bright Dot
Dots(sub -pixels) which appeared brightly in the screen when the LCM
displayed with dark pattern.
- R,G or B 1 dot

3.1.2. Partial Bright Dot
1) A partial bright dot damaged less than one third size of sub-pixel is not
counted as a bright dot defect.
2)Any bright dot seen from 0 to 60 gray scale is ignored,
seen from 61 to 127 gray scale is acceptable within Max.10 bright dots
seen over 128 gray scale is counted as a bright dot.
3.1.3. Dark Dot
Dots(sub -pixels) which appeared darkly in the screen when the LCM
displayed with bright pattern.
Dark dot defect damaged less than half size of sub-pixel is not counted as dark dot
defect.
