DISASSEMBLY PROCEDURE
1)
Warning:
All air pressure in the unit must be relieved prior to disassembly of gripper.
2)
During disassembly, be careful to avoid scratching bearing or sealing areas.
3)
Remove set screws from jaws (set screws retain dowel pins in jaws). Mark hole for identification during
reassembly.
4)
Remove dowel pins (jaw drivers) from jaws. A magnetized tool may be used.
5)
Remove socket head cap screws retaining bore covers and gaskets.
6)
To remove jaw assemblies, move jaws to open position and disengage from synchronizing disc. Jaw assem-
blies will slide out of body.
