Dividing Plate Chart Revision (08/2007)
The dividing chart shown in this operation manual was found to have a few minor errors. The
charts on the following pages will rectify any errors shown previously as well as give 100%
coverage of every possible division using the standard dividing plate set.
As you will see from the charts, there are many division numbers that have more than one
combination. As an example, any plate could be used for an index of 4,8,12,20 and 36 equal
spaces.
On page 3of this manual, the statement “
and all divisible by 2,3 and 5 from 67-132 equal
divisions
” SHOULD READ “
and all divisible by 2,3 or 5 from 68-130 and some but not all
divisible by 2,3 or 5 from 132-5760 equal divisions.
The divisions of 67 and 131 are not
available with the hole circles provided. The only divisions divisible by 2,3 and 5 are 30, 60, 90
and so on.
