Network
There are two available configuration options for the Network configuration –
LAN
and
Network
. These
options are used to configure the networking details that will be used by the PS200.
Network - LAN
Settings
Description
Use DHCP
This property determines how the IP address of the Omega is
assigned:
If the IP address is assigned via DHCP, enter “Yes”. No
other configuration is required (apart from entering a
host name).
If Omega has a static IP address, enter “No” and specify
the IP address for the
IP
property, as well as all the other
network properties, as required.
Net Mask
This property defines the subnet mask that will be used by the
Omega. If DHCP is used, this value will be automatically
determined
Name Server
IP address of the domain name server. If DHCP is used, this value
will be automatically determined.
IP Address
This property displays the IP address of the Omega PS200. If the
PS200 uses a static IP address, it is entered here. If DHCP is used,
this value will be automatically determined.
Gateway
Enter the IP address of the gateway used by Omega. If DHCP is
used, this value will be automatically determined.
Broadcast
Enter the IP address that the device should broadcast to. If DHCP
is used, this value will be automatically determined.
