This property gives the name of the XML file that contains the
details of the fictional demo users and print jobs. The default file
is called
demo.xml
—this should
not
need to be changed.
Enabled
Enter “yes” to enable demo mode. The default value is
“No”(demo mode off).
Demo data can be viewed using the Omega Web Administrator. To view demo data, select
Station >
Show Demo Data
from the Omega Web Administrator.
Firewall
The Omega PS200 can act as a proxy for the device it controls, with all network communication for the
device being sent to the Omega PS200’s IP address. The options on this screen configure how the PS200
“firewall” functionality operates.
From the Touchscreen Administrator, select
firewall.ini
to activate "Firewall" functionality
Settings
Description
PrinterMac
Only allow printer with this MAC address to connect to the LAN.
Allowed servers (shown below) on the LAN can only connect
(include printing) to printer with this MAC address. If blank any
printer is allowed
Printer IP
Enter the IP address that the Omega PS200 will assign to the
device it controls. This is a private IP address used by the PS200
only—it is not accessible from the LAN. The default should not
need to be changed.
allowedServers
The Pharos EDI server is automatically allowed access to the
printer. Add any other hostnames that must be allowed access to
the printer, e.g. the associated print server if it is not on the
Pharos EDI server, and the printer maintenance computer.
