Mains disconnector in a portable device
The main switch
ON/OFF
is the mains disconnector, and also serves as the EMERGENCY OFF function. It
is located on the top of the device.

The connection for the mains cable (C19/C20 coupler) is located at the rear.
In an emergency, switch off the FRIABILIMETER using the main switch, position
OFF
.
Disconnect the mains cable from the electrical power supply, or pull out the
coupler.
Secure the mains cable appropriately against unauthorized reconnection by placing
it where it can be monitored continuously.
