Removal of the fuel filter
- Remove the footboard. See: Procedure 7.
page 24.
- Lift the fuel tank.
- Clamp the end of the fuel inlet pipe using a
clip ref. 755996.
- Disconnect the fuel inlet pipe (1).
- Remove the fuel filter (2).
When re-installing, respect the direction of installation of the filter shown by the arrow which
indicates in which direction the fuel flows.
Draining the cooling circuit
The cooling system is drained when the
engine is cold.
- Remove the storage compartment. See:
Procedure 1. page 20.
- Remove the front top cover panel.
- Remove the header tank cap.
- Disconnect the lower pump from the coolant
pump to drain the cooling system (1).
- Connect the lower hose to the water pump.
Fit the clamp collar with the "ears" downwards.
