Slightly lubricate the brake cam and pin. 

- Install the brake linings. 
- Install the spring (9). 
- Install the brake control cable, the barrel and 

the adjusting nut (5). 

- Install the wheel. 

Tightening torque: 110 Nm. 

When re-installing, use a new nut. 

- Measure the free travel of the rear brake 

control lever. 

- Ajust the lever free travel using the adjusting 

nut. 

B. Brake control free travel: 10 to 20 mm. 

- Install the exhaust. 

Use a new exhaust gasket. 

• Exhaust to cylinder mounting nut: 

Tightening torque: 15 Nm. 

• Exhaust to casing mounting bolt: 

Tightening torque: 22 Nm.
