I/O Configurations
You can use Pin 4 (GPIO) green wire as:
• Pulse counter
• Digital input
• Analog input
• Digital Output / Low Side Current Sink
• Digital Output/Open Drain
Pulse Counter / Digital Input
You can connect pin 4 - GPIO the to a pulse counter to monitor frequencies to 512 Hz, with duty
cycle between 25%-75%. or a digital input to detect the state of a switch or to monitor an external
device such as a motion detector, a remote solar panel, or a remote camera. Digital input can also be
used with the Standby Timer.
High Side Pull-up / Dry Contact Switch Input
The voltage on Pin 4 when the high side pull-up is enabled (depends on the Vin and power
consumption.
