Resetting the Date of Previous Desiccant Change
Six months after the previous desiccant change, the following message is
displayed every time you switch on the Spectrum RX I and every time the
screen goes into Sleep mode:
Time to change desiccant: see MAINTENANCE chapter of manual.
After you change the desiccant, always reset the date of previous desiccant
change so that the reminder message will be displayed again after the specified
interval. You can change the interval for your next reminder message (see
Resetting a Maintenance Warning
in
Advanced Operations)
,
however, we
recommend that you use the default of six months.
Before performing any other tasks after the initial power-up on installation, set
the date of the desiccant change:
1.
At Ready For Next Command, press
The command line and soft keys shown in Figure 15 are displayed.

If necessary, correct the date by pressing
year , month
or
day
and typing
the required value.

You may also change the interval for your next maintenance warning by
pressing
interval
and typing the required value.
4.
When the correct data and interval are displayed, press
EXECUTE
The Spectrum RX I records the date that is in the command line as the
date of the last change, as shown in the following screen:
