Touch Screen . 27 

 

When the Autosampler is disabled, the Run button displays the Manual inject screen. When the 

instrument is ready, touch the 

Start 

button to begin the analysis. The countdown enable check box is 

selected by default. You can stop the countdown if needed. 

 

Manual Injection 

If no Autosampler is installed or configured, the Run button displays the Manual injection screen.  
The enable check box is selected by default. Touching the start button initiates the countdown starting 

from 5 seconds. When the countdown reaches 0, an audible beep prompts you to inject the sample. The 

GC will then start to program the oven and collect data. If the enable check box is deselected, the timer 

is disabled and the wording in instruction 3 is modified to exclude the tone. The system starts as soon as 

the Start Button is pressed and you make an injection contemporaneously.
